Mrs. Liri Berisha meets the president of Children's Defense Fund Organization, Ms. Marian Wright Edelman

One of the warmest meetings and the most important to Mrs. Liri Berisha during her visit to Washington DC was a cordial meeting with Mrs. Marian Wright Edelman, president of the largest American organization in the field of protection of children's rights, Children's Defense Fund, which was accompanied by vice president of this organization Mrs. Marjorie Newman-Williams. Mrs. Edelman expressed his satisfaction for the presence of Mrs. Liri Berisha in the environments of the Children's Defense Fund. Presenting the biggest challenge of the work of its organization, Mrs. Edelman made a picture of the latest initiative of President Obama to reform the health insurance scheme, focusing particularly on efforts to include all American children in this scheme. On her part, Mrs. Liri Berisha thanked Mrs. Edelman for the reception and meeting, introducing to her the activity of Albanian Children Foundation and Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation. Speaking for assistance for Albanian children, Mrs.Berisha presented to interlocutors the work and continuous support in terms of care and health assistance for children suffering from thalassemia, autism, etc., as well as challenges to continue further.
