“WITH LOVE FOR MOTHER TERESA” EXHIBITION
In the framework of the activities organized on the occasion of 100th anniversary of birth of Mother Teresa, the Albanian Nobelist, Mrs. Liri Berisha, president of Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation, organized at the National Historical Museum a special exhibition with works of the painter from Tetovo, Miftar Memeti.
"With love for Mother Teresa" exhibition reflects painter's power that made 100 portraits of Mother Teresa creating so in the background a portrait of Mother Teresa.
The revealing of the original painting was preceded by an artistic performance during which the guests formed together the mosaic of Mother Teresa's portrait which was formed by 100 small portraits where are intertwined all potential spiritual senses experienced by Mother Teresa throughout an impetuous century, full of sacrifice and care for people.
This exhibition was attended by Mr. Sali Berisha, Albanian Prime Minister, Mrs. Jozefina Topalli, Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Ilir Meta, Deputy Prime Minister, representatives of the diplomatic corps and government authorities, representatives of religious communities, arts and culture as well as invited guests of the Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation.
The exhibition will be open to the Albanian public from 20 - 21 August 2010 and then it will be opened in Skopje on 25 August. |
