Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation is supported by United States Dignitaries.

On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, Mrs. Liri Berisha, President of Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation held a serious of meetings and activities in New York and Washington during April. “Mother Teresa-A living symbol of Love and human dignity” the exhibition organized in these states were successful and fruitful. After this successful presentation of these exhibitions about the life and mission of the outstanding Albanian humanist, Mother Teresa, reaffirmed the United States respect and support for the Albanian people and the foundation, through letters, photos sent to Mrs. Berisha, President of this foundation. Among them we may mention letters from dignitaries of United States political and social life such as Mrs. Michelle Obama, Mrs. Laura Bush and Mrs. Hilary Clinton. They appraise the organized activity and the work of the foundation to make known the image and values of the Albanian Humanist. The thank-you letter sent by Mrs. Clinton was a special and impressive. In her letter Mrs. Clinton emphasized that the exhibition and the gifts with Mother Teresa symbols serve as fond reminders of Mother Teresa enduring legacy. This activity brought into being more memories and information from Mother Teresa’s life and mission, as one of the most humanitarian figures of human kind.
