Mrs. Liri Berisha meets Mr. Aaron Williams, General Director of Peace Corps.

Mrs. Liri Berisha held a meeting with Mr. Aaron Williams, General Director of "Peace Corps". Mrs. Berisha thanked Mr. Williams for the work and help that American peace volunteers have provided during the Albanian transition years, considering this act as an essential element of friendship and love that exists between our people. The aid of Peace Corps’ volunteers in the field of education, health education, small business, etc. has been very much appreciated and welcomed by the Albanian institutions and people.
"Now that Albania has changed completely from the first years of transition when the first volunteers of the Peace Corps came here, we would like them to reflect changes of our country in other countries especially in terms of economic development and in the tourism sector.

Focusing on her activities as the president of Albanian Children Foundation and Mother Teresa Cultural Foundation, Mrs. Berisha focused on the efforts and volunteering to stay close to children in need, to help in their education, etc.
